The short version

Your videos never leave your computer for us. We keep only what we need to sell you a licence and support you.

What the extension keeps

To activate a licence, the extension makes a device code from your computer’s ID. That code is part of your licence key so the key works on that computer only. Licence state, settings and any API keys you enter are stored locally on your computer.

The extension checks our website for updates and for the list of cancelled devices. These checks send no personal data.

Third-party AI services you choose

If you turn on transcription or Say It, Edit It with your own API key, the audio or text needed for that task is sent from your computer directly to the service you chose, under its own privacy policy. We don’t receive it.

When you buy

Card orders: our Merchant of Record, Gumroad, collects your name, email, country and payment details to process the order and send receipts; we receive your name, email and order details. We never see your full card number.

WhatsApp, InstaPay and wallet orders: we keep your name, phone number, payment receipt and device code to issue and support your licence.

The website

editboxstudio.com is hosted on Cloudflare. It remembers your language and currency choice in your browser. We count visits without cookies and without storing your IP address: the country and city your connection comes from, the page that sent you, your device type, how long you stayed, how far you scrolled and which buttons you pressed (for example Download). A random visit number is kept in your browser so a visit is counted once. We don’t sell or share your data for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at [email protected]. We keep order records only as long as needed for support, accounting and the law.
